A fresh CCTV appeal has been issued after a 90-year-old woman had her bag and medication stolen after going for a health visit in Bolton.
The victim had visited the health appointment and had gone for a cup of tea on Waters Meeting Road at around 10.40am on November 13. The pensioner had accidentally left her bag on a chair while catching a local taxi after her walking frame had become stuck.
The driver went back inside the venue to check moments later – but it had already been taken, GMP said. Police said the bag contained around £100 cash, medication, a notebook, and other personal items.
The bag is described as being large bag of multicoloured blue, black and grey tones. Officers investigating the theft have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to, as it is believed that he could help with their enquiries.
