AEW Backstage Morale Following Full Gear 2025 Update

Details have emerged on backstage morale in AEW, following Saturday’s Full Gear 2025 pay-per-view.
The November 22 show was a very newsworthy event, with three championships changing hands, in addition to the inaugural AEW National Champion being crowned.
Following the show, an update has emerged on backstage morale within the company.
Per PWInsider, backstage morale is “very high” following AEW Full Gear 2025.
The show was headlined by an AEW World Championship Steel Cage match, which saw Samoa Joe defeat Hangman Adam Page to win the company’s top title.
The AEW TNT Championship also changed hands during the show, with Mark Briscoe defeating Kyle Fletcher in a No Disqualification bout.
In addition to this, new AEW World Tag Team Champions were crowned, with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR dethroning Bandido and Brody King of Brodido.
A Casino Gauntlet bout decided the first AEW National Champion, with Ricochet ultimately victorious.
Other title matches on the card saw Kris Statlander defend the AEW Women’s World Title against Mercedes Mone, and Mascara Dorada, Mistico & Neon defeat Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita to retain the CMLL World Trios Championship.
