Before “Threw It Away,” she said: “This next song I wrote in 2020 with Ryan Tedder, and you can figure out who I was dating.”
“I put my heart out on the table / That’s when it got uncomfortable / But oh that karma is gonna come one day / ’Cause I gave you my love and you threw it away,” Jessie sings.
“Don’t you dare rewrite the story / I’m the beauty, you’re the beast,” she reportedly sings at one point.
Jessie and Tatum were first linked together in October 2018 after being seen on a mini golf date. They split in 2019 and rekindled their romance, then split a second time by April of 2020.
She has since moved on with basketball player Chanan Safir Colman, 41.
They welcomed a son Sky in 2023. She recently returned to the stage after undergoing breast cancer surgery.
