Why are Man Utd kicking off on Sunday at midday v Palace

The clash in France kicks off at 21:00 local time (20:00 GMT) and, with the Premier League attempting to ensure teams have at least 60 hours gap between matches, the switch to Sunday now means there is a 64-hour difference for Oliver Glasner’s men.

As a consequence of our outing at Selhurst Park, three of the later top-flight games have been pushed back to start at 14:05 GMT, to avoid any potential overlap.

Aston Villa face Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest entertain Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United host Liverpool.

The London derby between Chelsea and Arsenal remains at 16:30 GMT.
