Shirtless Ben Johnson gets Chicago fans free hot dogs following Bears’ win vs. Eagles

Chicago Bears running backs Kyle Monangai and D’Andre Swift each surpassed 100 rushing yards in a Black Friday win against the Philadelphia Eagles, and indulged in a Wedgebuster 3.0 — a delicacy combining food favorites from Chicago and Philadelphia — on Prime Video’s postgame show.

But Chicago’s head coach, Ben Johnson, made sure his running backs weren’t the only ones well-fed. The city of Chicago, for the second time this season, is getting free hot dogs.

“Shirtless Ben Johnson” won the popular vote. So after Chicago won 24-15 behind a historic performance in the rushing game, all eyes were on the first-year head coach to deliver the city another Thanksgiving feast. He didn’t disappoint, pulling his shirt off before starting the now-iconic “Good, better, best” locker room chant. The Wieners Circle will dish out the free dogs on Tuesday.

In September, with the Bears off to a 0-2 start, The Wieners Circle promised free hot dogs if quarterback Caleb Williams threw four touchdowns in Week 3. It wasn’t an empty promise, as Williams delivered those four TD passes in a 31-14 win against the Dallas Cowboys. Chicago has won nine of its 10 games since then.

The Bears are at the top of the NFC North at 9-3 and travel to play the Green Bay Packers next in a game that would help solidify their status in the division. But first, free hot dogs. No ketchup, of course.
