After 22 seasons, there will no longer be a concession stand inside Citizens Bank Park named after legendary Phillies broadcaster Harry Kalas.

Harry’s the K’s below the scoreboard in left field has been renamed the Ghost Energy Deck, the Phillies announced on Thursday in a press release. The new area formerly known as Harry the K’s is now sponsored by the lifestyle brand Ghost, which is best known for its line of energy drinks and protein powders. The Phillies described the area as “a vibrant, high-energy destination at one of the ballpark’s most exciting viewpoints.”

Harry the K’s originally opened in 2004 as Harry the K’s Broadcast Bar & Grille, a full-service restaurant on the 100 level in left field. The Phillies converted the space into the Miller Lite Liberty Landing, a bar area with seating, in 2021, but kept the Harry the K’s naming for the concession stand on the second level.

In an interview with Michael Klein of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Brian Kling, head of corporate sponsorship with the Phillies, said that the team is still committed to honoring Kalas’ legacy.

“We expect to continue to show Harry singing his rendition of ‘High Hopes’ on PhanaVision after every home win,” Kling said. The statue of Kalas near the original location of Harry the K’s is still standing. The Phillies television broadcast booth is still named after Kalas.

Kalas was hired by the Phillies as a play-by-play broadcaster in 1971. One of the most beloved figures in team history, Kalas was honored by the Baseball Hall of Fame as the Ford C. Frick Award winner in 2002. Kalas passed away in April 2009 as he was getting ready to call a Phillies vs. Nationals game in D.C.
