Seth Rollins Explains Why He Snapped On A Fan Over His Tesla Cybertruck In Front Of His Daughter

Seth Rollins doesn’t usually lose his cool—but one rude gesture in front of his daughter was enough to push him over the edge.
During his appearance on Something’s Burning Season 6 Episode 15, the WWE star recounted a wild moment where a stranger gave him the middle finger simply for driving a Tesla Cybertruck. Rollins, who clarified he wasn’t even a diehard Tesla fan, said the incident happened in broad daylight as he and wife Becky Lynch were taking their daughter to school.
Rollins said the truck was bought from a friend who was flipping it—not directly from Tesla—and while he liked the ride, he didn’t expect the level of public judgment it brought, especially in Los Angeles.
“I got a Cybertruck. I didn’t buy it like from Tesla—I bought it from a buddy of mine who was like flipping one. He was trying to make some money off it, so I got it for a good price.”
But the situation quickly turned when someone on the street took one look at the vehicle and responded with hate.
“People like, they flip me off, bro. They flip me off in the street.”
One recent encounter stuck with him—and it nearly escalated. Rollins explained that while driving through a neighborhood with Becky and their child in the car, a man walking his dog randomly gave him the finger.
“We’re in the f**king Cybertruck, just driving, not speeding, not doing anything… and this dude walking his dog just goes—” (Rollins mimics the man flipping him off) “I look in the rearview like, ‘Did he just f**king flip me off?’ And Becky’s like, ‘Just let it go. Let it go.’”
“I whip that bch around. I flip a fking U-ey, I pull up on this guy, and I go: ‘What the f**k is your problem?’”
The man’s response only fueled Rollins’ anger.
“He goes, ‘It’s not you. It’s the truck.’ I go: ‘You flipped me off! You flipped me off, dude! I’m driving my daughter to school! You don’t know me! You don’t know what people are going through!’”
Rollins admitted it’s out of character for him to confront someone like that, but said in that moment, he couldn’t stay silent.
“I went off. I snapped. I’m not even that guy… But man, I couldn’t let that sh*t go. Don’t f*king flip me off in front of my daughter.”
Becky tried to calm him down, but the rage had already taken over.
“She’s grabbing my arm like, ‘Let’s go!’ And I’m like, ‘He just flipped me off for driving a f**king car!’”
Rollins ended the story by reflecting on how absurd the situation was.
“I was so pissed. I was hot for like 20 minutes after that. I was shaking.”
“This guy’s walking his dog, and he sees a Cybertruck and just thinks, ‘F**k you.’ Like bro, relax.”
Seth Rollins might be a wrestling icon, but even he’s got a breaking point—and this time, it wasn’t in the ring. When a stranger disrespected him in front of his wife and kid over a car, the Visionary made it known he’s not the one to mess with. Say what you want about the Cybertruck, but flipping off a dad on a school run? That’s just asking for it.
What would you have done in Seth Rollins’ shoes? Do you think the hate for Cybertrucks is justified or just out of control? Sound off in the comments and let us know where you stand.
