Amy Schumer unrecognisable after weight loss as she wows in striking gown

Amy Schumer has sent her followers into a frenzy as she showcased her incredible weight loss. The American actress, 44, posted a recent snap of herself on Instagram as she stepped out in a striking yellow mini dress. Amy’s fans were sent into a meltdown as they commented on her slim figure, saying that she looked “like a teenager” and was “glowing.” In one snap, the actress is sitting on a staircase, adding the caption: “Trying to go to the party but someone won’t go to bed @gitabass takin pics and painting me with @tousledbyjae dress by @maisonvalentino thanks @luxury_checkins skin as always by @georgialouisesk.”

One of her fans commented: “Wow!!!!” as another person chimed in: “You look amazing Amy.” A third also echoed similarly: “Okay Benjamina Button, every day you look younger than the last.”

A fourth person said: “Where is this time machine, and can I get a ride?! GORG,” with a hand-clapping emoji included.

A fifth also commented in admiration: “You look like a teenager. I literally thought this was from your prom.”

Earlier this month, Amy made an Instagram post which addressed rumours that she had deleted all her photos from her account due to weight loss.

She wrote: “Hey media outlets, I didn’t delete my old photos because they were pre-me losing weight. That’s a narrative you created. I’m proud of how I’ve looked always. I have been working to be pain-free and I finally am.”

Amy then explained that her endometriosis was “better” and that her back was “healing.”

She continued: “I no longer have Cushing syndrome, so my face went back to normal. I am grateful to be strong and healthy especially for my son.

“But your Instagram is not your identity, it’s a curation of what you want the world to see and I feel great strong and beautiful and it’s been fun sharing that. I didn’t purposely go on a ‘weight loss journey,’ that’s a fine thing to go on. But my focus has been on health. I’m sure my weight will always fluctuate.

“I’m a perimenopausal woman on HRT meds. Wishing you strength and self-love on whatever path you’re on, as long as it’s kind and respectful to all people. No matter their weight, race or religion. Peace!”

Amy first spoke publicly about her endometriosis in 2019 when she gave birth, and she underwent surgery to treat the disease in September 2021.
