The Tigers arrive in Tuscaloosa at 7–1, carrying a four-game surge that most recently included a comfortable win over Alabama A&M. That performance followed a productive stint at the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic, where Clemson squeezed past West Virginia and later survived an overtime thriller against Georgia.
Now comes the toughest assignment so far. Alabama, sitting at 5–2, has already stacked wins over top-10 opponents St. John’s and Illinois and boasts one of the highest-scoring lineups in the country. Clemson leads the overall series 8–5 and left Coleman Coliseum with an upset in the 2023 ACC/SEC Challenge, only for Alabama to flip the script in the 2024 Elite Eight.
