Ex-Man Utd star Jesse Lingard, 32, available on free transfer as he QUITS Seoul for ‘next stage’ in emotional statement
FORMER Manchester United star Jesse Lingard has agreed to leave FC Seoul, with his final game set for next week.
The 32-year-old joined the South Korean side in February last year and was branded the “biggest signing” in K League history.

However, he recently agreed to end his contract a few months early after “positive discussions” with club officials.
Lingard announced his decision with a statement on social media.
It read: “After positive discussions with FC Seoul, we have mutually agreed that I will be leaving the club at the end of the 2025 season, with my final game on December 10th.
“This wasn’t an easy decision. My time in South Korea has been unbelievable — the football, the atmosphere, and the passion around this club have been top-class.

Lingard has scored 18 goals and provided 10 assists in 66 appearances for Seoul.
He is now set to become a free agent once again.
The midfielder originally joined the South Korean club for free following his Nottingham Forest departure.
Lingard was limited to just 20 appearances in his one-year spell at Forest.
Before then he spent 22 years at Man Utd, where he made 232 appearances and won the FA Cup, Europa League and League Cup.
