Organizers of Sheffield’s “Rock N’ Roll Circus” have confirmed former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft will headline the event in 2026.
The Fratellis and Cast will be joining as special guests to support Ashcroft at the festival, which is scheduled to take place on 30th August 2026.
A two-time Ivor Novello winner Ashcroft, who released his new solo record Lovin’ You earlier this year, is expected to perform songs from the album, as well as some big hits from his discography including “Lucky Man”, “Sonnet”, “The Drugs Don’t Work” and “Bittersweet Symphony” at the festival.
Ashcroft is set to embark on arena shows next spring. The tour, which will commence with a show at Cardiff’s Utilita Arena, includes a date at The O2, London.
