What’s wrong with NFL RedZone? Audio crashes and internet goes crazy

If there’s one thing NFL fans can all agree on, it’s don’t mess with NFL RedZone.
The popular channel that pops around from game to game every Sunday has a diehard group of fans, from casuals, to fantasy football players and gamblers to the true diehards.
So when something goes wrong, everyone freaks out.
That’s what happened on Sunday, Dec. 7, during NFL Week 14.
After starting off normally, the audio for the RedZone channel went totally static. Fans immediately took to social media to see if others were having the same experience.
The audio briefly came back at 1:16 p.m. ET, when host Scott Hanson’s voice could be heard, before quickly going static again. The normal sound came back again at 1:18 p.m.
The only positive? The memes online were hysterical.
