NFL Week 14 picks: Why we like Browns, Bengals and Eagles
Lorenzo Reyes is back with his best bets for Week 14 games. He explains why he likes Browns, Bengals and Eagles.
The Green Bay Packers are continuing their march to the postseason.
It’s nothing new for Jordan Love, who has made the playoffs in back-to-back years since becoming the full-time starter. Those Packers teams entered the postseason as a wild-card, but Green Bay has its sights set a little higher in 2025. The NFC North is in reach this time around and the next few games are likely going to determine the eventual winner.
The Packers remain locked in a battle with the Chicago Bears for the spot atop the NFC North. Ben Johnson’s upstart Bears got their first chance to land a punch in a rivalry that has long been dominated by the Cheeseheads, but the Packers managed to land the first punch against Johnson’s Bears in Week 14 at Lambeau Field, earning a 28-21 victory.
It wasn’t easy, as Caleb Williams and Co. had a chance to mount a game-tying try late in regulation. But in the end, Williams tossed an interception in the end zone on a fourth-and-1 from the 14-yard line to seal a Green Bay victory.
For all the inconsistencies the Packers have experienced at times in 2025, Micah Parsons’ dominance remains a constant. If he continues to be a game-wrecker in the regular season’s final weeks, that could make all the difference.
Here’s a look at the Packers’ playoff chances, remaining schedule and overall NFC playoff picture:
Packers playoff odds
The Packers have an estimated 94% chance to make the playoffs following their Week 14 win over the Bears, according to NFL Next Gen Stats. That’s up from the team’s 89% chance to make the postseason entering Week 14 and a significant improvement over the 72% chance they would have sported with a loss.
Green Bay is currently first in the NFC North and in possession of the No. 2 seed in the NFC, meaning it’s in a solid spot heading into the stretch run.
While the Packers are currently in control of the NFC North, their ability to stay atop the division could hinge on their remaining matchup against the rival Bears in Week 16.
Packers remaining schedule
The Packers will face the NFL’s second-hardest schedule the remainder of the season, per Tankathon. They have two remaining matchups against teams with winning records and two contests against divisional opponents.
Green Bay will also have to deal with a pair of AFC opponents like the Broncos and Ravens that have playoff scenarios of their own to play for:
