Keefe D’s Trial For 2Pac’s Murder Pushed Back Six Months

Duane Keith “Keefe D” Davis’ trial for the murder of 2Pac has been pushed due to an overwhelming amount of evidence.
Complex can confirm that Davis’ trial has been pushed back to August 10, 2026, which gives his defense team six more months to comb through the large amount of evidence. His attorney, Robert Draskovich, called the mountain of new information “voluminous.”
Keefe D has been incarcerated in the Clark County Detention Center since being arrested in 2023 for allegedly orchestrating the drive-by shooting that killed Tupac “2Pac” Shakur in 1996.
Earlier this year, Keefe D maintained his innocence in an interview with The Art of Dialogue about the charges.
“They ain’t got no evidence. They don’t got nothing. They know they don’t have nothing,” Keefe D said. “They can’t even place me out here [at the time of the shooting]. They don’t have no gun, no car, no Keefe D, no nothing. Everybody on video but Keefe D. This is wrong, man.”
“I shouldn’t have said nothing. I shouldn’t have said nothing. And I’m innocent, man,” added Keefe D, regarding his previous comments in interviews about the shooting. “And God got my back and God will see me through this.”
In April, Keefe D was found guilty of battery by a prisoner and issuing challenges to a fight because of a brawl that happened with another Clark County inmate after a personal visit last December.
Keefe D reportedly claimed to officers that he was standing his ground, but didn’t say anything else about the altercation.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent has shared his opinion on the 2Pac trial, arguing that Keefe D “talked himself into jail.”
In a post on Instagram, 50 shared Keefe D’s mugshot alongside a clip of him from a 2022 The Art of Dialogue interview. “Keefe D talked him self into jail,” he wrote. “Show some love brother Love. LOL DEC2 Netflix you can’t make this shit up. BOOM.”
In the clip from the interview included in the post, Keefe D called on Diddy to “show some love” for him.
