Is Rashee Rice playing for Chiefs on Sunday night?

At this late stage of the 2025 NFL campaign, the reigning AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs are basically fighting for their season. Kansas City is just 6-6 at the time of this writing and currently sits outside the AFC playoff picture. Another loss wouldn’t necessarily eliminate the Chiefs outright then and there, but it would make their playoff odds that much slimmer.

Heading into a big Sunday night game with the Houston Texans, the Chiefs will fortunately have one of their best players available.

After dealing with a hamstring injury for a little while now, No. 1 Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice is expected to play on Sunday night. While he might still have some limitations mid-game, Rice was a full participant in practice all week, which is a great sign for what he should be capable of against one of the NFL’s elite defenses.

A big-time game from Rice with the Chiefs fighting for their playoff lives would be clutch.
