The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2025 NFL Week 14 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Lane Johnson, Jalen Carter, Joshua Uche, A.J. Dillon, Mac McWilliams, and Sam Howell.
Johnson and Carter were ruled out on the final injury report. Lane Johnson seems to be teasing a Week 15 return but it’ll be Fred Johnson starting at right tackle against the Chargers. Carter’s absence leaves the Eagles with four active defensive tackles: Moro Ojomo, Jordan Davis, Byron Young, and Ty Robinson. The rookie Robinson will play after being a healthy scratch in most games this year and only logging 35 defensive snaps thus far.
Uche is a healthy scratch for the second game in a row. He hasn’t played a defensive snap since Week 8.
Dillon is a healthy scratch for the sixth time in the Eagles’ last seven games. He hasn’t played a snap since Week 6.
McWilliams is a healthy scratch once again. He’s only played seven defensive snaps (all in garbage time) and 14 special teams snaps so far as a rookie.
Howell is the emergency third quarterback. He can only enter the game if both Jalen Hurts and Tanner McKee become unavailable.
Marcus Epps is active after being activated from injured reserve. The expectation is that he’ll start at safety ahead of Sydney Brown.
Andre’ Sam is active after being temporarily elevated from the practice squad for the second game in a row.

EDGE Joshua Uche – Fifth edge rusher.
RB A.J. Dillon – Fourth running back.
CB Mac McWilliams – Seventh cornerback.
QB Sam Howell – Emergency third quarterback.
Los Angeles Chargers inactive list
As expected, Chargers starting quarterback Justin Herbert is ACTIVE despite being ruled questionable to play. No surprises among LA’s inactives, who are all healthy scratches.
