Eagles legend LeSean McCoy calls for Kevin Patullo to be fired: ‘(He) be on some bull—-’

Former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy wants offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo fired after the team’s 22-19 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night.

The Eagles offense finished with 365 total yards against the Chargers but turned the ball over five times. Quarterback Jalen Hurts had the worst game of his NFL career, completing 21 of his 40 attempts (52.5%) for 240 yards, no touchdowns, four interceptions and a fumble. Although wide receiver A.J. Brown finished with six catches for 100 yards, he dropped multiple passes, including a potential touchdown that would have led to a win.

McCoy appeared on the “SpeakEasy” podcast after the game with former Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho and ‘Carebear’ Kieran to discuss the loss. McCoy believes that Hurts and Brown will be fine, saying that people who hate Hurts are enjoying the three-game losing streak and jumping on it.

However, he believes Patullo bears the brunt of the blame for the unit’s lack of production this season, venting his frustration with Patullo by issuing an ultimatum.

“If he’s back, I’m leaving the Eagles,” McCoy said.

When Acho asked McCoy where he was going, since McCoy was enshrined in the Eagles Hall of Fame, McCoy doubled down, sharing what he would tell Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie.

“Take me off,” McCoy said. “Nobody has ever asked. I’m going to say Mr. Lurie, it’s either me or Kevin…If Kevin is not fired, put 25 back out there on the street. Let one of the rookies get it. Kevin has to go bro…Anybody. Give the kicker my number if Kevin is still there. Kevin be on some bullcrap.”
