Sources confirm Brian Hartline, USF adding top young personnel executive

Brand-new South Florida coach Brian Hartline has one of his upper-tier off-the-field hires completed.
Hartline, the outgoing Ohio State offensive coordinator and former NFL wideout, has added Jenna Learn into an upper-level executive personnel position, FootballScoop has learned.
It’s a homecoming for Learn, a USF graduate who launched her football career as a 20-year-old college graduate who was immediately hired as USF’s football operations and recruiting coordinator.
She returns to Tampa, Florida, from UTSA, where she was promoted last summer to the role of assistant general manager in Jeff Traylor’s program.
Sources told FootballScoop that Hartline prioritized adding Learn to his inaugural staff, discussing the role with her last week and ensuring she also was in Tampa this week as Hartline was introduced as the next head coach, replacing Alex Golesh following his departure to Auburn.
A 247Sports 30-under-30 honoree, Learn also previously served under Mark Diethorn’s tutelage as director of recruiting at Michigan State, giving her Power Conference experience to bring to Hartline’s Bulls as USF tries to sustain success.
The program won nine games in 2025 and is set to play in the Cure Bowl opposite Old Dominion later this month.
CBS Sports first shared the news of Learn’s addition at USF.
