BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women’s basketball team will wrap up their non-conference home slate this weekend, hosting Florida Gulf Coast for its Education Day game at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, and then welcoming rival FIU on Monday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m. for the Owls’ non-conference finale at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena. Fans can catch both games live on ESPN+.

A LOOK AT THE OWLS

- The Eagles’ offensive leader is Sinai Douglas, who boasts a team-best 10.0 points per game. Douglas also paces the Eagles on the glass, collecting a team-leading 6.6 per game, as well as in assists, dishing out a team-best 3.3 per game.
- Cerina Rolle and Douglas are the Eagles’ steals leaders, recording 1.4 and 1.3 per game, respectively.
- FGCU’s Anna Mortag leads the team in blocks, tallying 1.0 per game through seven contests.

- The series is tied 1-1 all-time between Florida Atlantic and FGCU. In Boca Raton, the Eagles lead 1-0. Friday’s matchup marks the first meeting between the two teams since Dec. 11, 2016.
