JD Vance, the Vice President of the United States, got fans’ attention when he revealed whom he preferred between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. Vance’s comment on X contributed to the ongoing debate about who is better between the two rappers, both of whom have achieved considerable success in the music industry. Famously, said rappers are involved in a longstanding feud that reportedly dates back to 2017.
JD Vance tweets about Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj wrote in a now-deleted post on X, “Vance > Rants,” which got JD Vance‘s attention. He responded by picking Minaj over her rival, Cardi B. He posted, “Nicki>Cardi B.” However, the Vice President did not elaborate on why he picked Minaj over Cardi B, the latter of whom has not yet reacted to the politician’s choice.
JD Vance has no role in Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s feud. Both rappers have made their stance on U.S. politics clear. Minaj has expressed support for Donald Trump, while Cardi B has been a vocal opponent of the President.
Nonetheless, his comment has reignited discussion on the beef between Minaj and Cardi B. Notably, the pair renewed their beef three months ago after the latter’s album “Am I The Drama?” debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Minaj insinuated that Cardi B inflated her album sales. She posted a now-deleted tweet that read $4.99 — reportedly referencing the promotional price of the album.
The rapper didn’t stop there, however. She posted a series of now-deleted tweets attacking Cardi B by mockingly referencing the latter’s song, “Magnet.” She also made some disparaging remarks about Cardi B’s personal life and called the latter “Barney Dangerous,” posting a photoshopped image of the latter as Barney the Dinosaur from the popular children’s series, Barney & Friends.
Cardi B clapped back at Minaj with her own tweets mocking the latter, labeling her a “bored b****”.
