David Dastmalchian Joins Ella Balinska In Horror-Thriller ‘Kill Screen’

EXCLUSIVE: The Dark Knight and Ant-Man star David Dastmalchian has signed on to star opposite Charlie’s Angels and Resident Evil series actress Ella Balinska in Concourse Media’s upcoming horror-thriller Kill Screen (previously known as The Horror Game).
Currently in pre-production, the film heralds from Wolf Creek and Jungle director Greg McLean. Screenplay comes from Gus Krieger (Old Henry).
In Kill Screen, desperate to find her missing sister, a young woman (Balinska) and her three friends are drawn into a mysterious virtual reality horror game. Each level forces them to survive an entirely different horror subgenre—from slashers to supernatural, zombie horror to psychological. When they learn that dying in the game means dying in real life, the friends must outthink and outfight the game’s sadistic creator (Dastmalchian) before their luck runs out.

Recently seen in Mike Flanagan’s Stephen King adaptation The Life of Chuck and Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, Dastmalchian recently starred alongside Alexander Skarsgård in Apple series Murderbot, and in IFC’s Late Night with the Devil. Known for his villain turns, he also recently appeared in Dexter: Resurrection, and will next appear in season two of Netflix’s One Piece as Mr. 3. and as the villain, M. Bison, in the upcoming Street Fighter franchise reboot from Legendary/Paramount.
