The Browns announced the game statuses for 12 players ahead of their Week 15 matchup against the Bears.
“A lot of what we do as coaches is work through contingency plans and see who’s available,” head coach Kevin Stefanski said. “There’s always uncertainty going into football games of who may or may not play. So, we just work through those things.”
Conklin continues to work through the concussion protocol and did not participate throughout the week. Njoku sustained a knee injury in the second quarter Week 15 against the Titans and did not return to the game. He did not participate in practice throughout the week.
Ward suffered the calf injury in the fourth quarter of Week 14 and was ruled out for the remainder of the game. Ward did not participate in practice throughout the week.
“With every injury you have to treat the injury and, unfortunately, wasn’t able to make it this week,” Stefanski said of Ward.
