Emma Paton joked about giving a fan “one last chance” after a marriage proposal.

Emma’s wedding day didn’t go as planned last year when she rocked up to a darts fan’s home. The Sky Sports presenter donned a stunning white dress and was ready to walk down the aisle with a fan who had proposed to her at the darts.

However, unfortunately for the man in question, it was all a stunt for Paddy Power ahead of the PDC Paddy Power World Darts Championship.

The hilarious video starts in a family’s living room, as the husband (Anthony) explains to his wife what happened at the darts the previous evening.

The groggy husband struggles to recall his “couple” of drinks, as we see flashbacks of his raucous evening at Ally Pally. Emma then bursts into the room wearing a wedding dress and holding a bouquet of flowers.

A flashback shows Anthony holding a sign that says “Emma Paton, will u marry me?” And Emma, back in the studio, mouths back: “Yes, I do.”

Anthony tries to play peacekeeper as his wife sits fuming beside him, suggesting that he could set Emma up with a friend.

Emma, after hearing the offer, storms back out of the room, tossing the flowers on the table. The jilted bride can then be seen walking down the street in her wedding dress.

The stunt closes with the message: “Think before they write this Christmas.”

However, Antony might not have remembered the message he helped share 12 months ago, and in a cheeky picture on Paddy Power social’s he tried his luck one more time: “Emma… one last chance?”

And Emma shared the snap, with the caption: “ANTHONY!!”

Speaking about the campaign last year, she said: “With just days to go until the Worlds, there’s plenty of exciting things to come for the fans and I can’t wait to be working alongside the team to bring them to life.

“The fans really are what makes Ally Pally feel like home to me across the next three weeks but be careful what you write… I might just take it seriously!”
