People Are Actually… Agreeing With JD Vance After He Said He Wants To Ban This Meme

JD Vance Bizarre 6-7 Meme Response

I know you’re probably sick of hearing about it, and I don’t even want to type it, but we have to talk about the 6-7 meme again.

If you don’t know what 6-7 is, honestly, nobody does. Especially not JD Vance, who is tweeting about it…for some reason.

“Yesterday at church the Bible readings started on page 66-67 of the missal, and my 5-year-old went absolutely nuts repeating ‘six-seven’ like 10 times,” Vance tweeted. “And now I think we need to make this narrow exception to the first amendment and ban these numbers forever.”

It seems that wasn’t all Vance had to say about the 6-7 epidemic, because he followed up his initial tweet with another inquiry, writing, “Where did this even come from? I don’t understand it. When we were kids all of our viral trends at least had an origin story.”

The response to Vance’s sudden anti-6-7 proclamation has been veeery mixed. Some people are annoyed that he’s even spending time talking about this little internet meme, given he’s the literal vice president.

“The most unserious administration of all time. Two dudes obsessed with trying to be funny on twitter while completely fucking up the country. Beyond laughable.”

“Jd Vance there are veterans living homeless and you are creating legislation to ban 6 7. You’re such a niche baby.”

Others just find his attempt to be funny kind of embarrassing. “Pack it up. Politicians are involved with 67 now. It was a good run,” one user tweeted.

“JD Vance tryna soft launch a stand up career cuz it’s almost over for him.”

“The energy this post gives.”

“I can’t believe we got six seven in the national divorce.”

But, it actually seems like being fed up with the 6-7 of it all is a bipartisan issue: “I never thought in my life I’d agree with fucking JD Vance of all people.”

“Someone on a podcast said ‘6, 7 years’ and it activated my 12-year-old like he was a sleeper agent. I agree. Ban it. For the good of us all.”

“This is one issue that should unite Republicans and Democrats.”

“We need an EO to shut this ‘joke’ down forever.”

It seems like Vance is joking? Maybe??? We think???? But, who knows! We’re unfortunately no strangers to him trying to get in on the joke.

Whatever the future holds for the US government and its 6-7 state of affairs, we’ll be watching. Perhaps we’ll even investigate how far up In-N-Out’s ban of the order number 67 goes…
