P Jamie Gillan (left knee) was listed as doubtful. Seven more were questionable: DL D.J. On Saturday, the Giants signed WR Dalen Cambre and OLB Tomon Fox to the active roster and elevated DL Elijah Chatman and P Cameron Johnston from the practice squad.
Johnston, an Australian native, has punted in 99 regular-season games for the Eagles (2018-2020), Texans (2021-2023), Steelers (2024), and Bills (2025), who released him last month. In 2023, he set Houston’s franchise record with a 74-yard punt. In 2018, he set Philadelphia’s single-season franchise records in gross punting average (48.1) and net punting average (42.7). Since the former Big Ten Punter of the Year from Ohio State entered the NFL in 2018, Johnston is eighth in the NFL in net punt average (42.2 yards) and 10th in punts inside the 20 (185).
Muasau, who has not played since Week 9, was activated from injured reserve.
OLB Victor Dimukeje and CB Nic Jones, meanwhile, were placed on injured reserve. The Giants also waived CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse.
For Washington, QB Jayden Daniels (left elbow), DE Drake Jackson (groin/knee), CB Jonathan Jones (rib) were ruled out. RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. (groin) and WR Deebo Samuel (illness) were questionable. On Saturday, the Commanders elevated CB Darius Rush from the practice squad.
