FBI seen executing federal search warrant at Glendale home

GLENDALE, Calif. (KABC) — The FBI executed a federal search warrant Friday at a home in Glendale as part of what was described only as “an ongoing investigation.”

Video shared with Eyewitness News shows the moment agents pulled up to the home on Moncado Drive. The person inside is heard yelling back.

“They’re not showing me a warrant,” the person said. “They’re just here with no warrant!”

Federal agents spoke with ABC7 at the scene and said they were executing a criminal search warrant.

Meantime, another video shows investigators in tactical gear moving in with guns drawn. The officers eventually broke through the door.

“Let our dog get out! We didn’t do anything!” a person in the house is heard yelling.

Eyewitness News cameras captured investigators walking out of the home with several boxes full of items, including a rolled-up carpet.

More agents were seen rummaging through a car in the driveway, taking photos.

“I’m shocked. I would never think this would happen,” said neighbor Eddie Marcus. “They’re such nice people.”

Neighbors told ABC7 that two women live at the home with their dogs. They said the couple has lived there for more than three years.

“When they first came to our neighborhood, us and my neighbors, we had a party when they first got here,” said neighbor Matilda King.

Neighbors were left anxious, eager to know what agents were looking for.

“Something crazy, I don’t know,” said King. “My first thought was maybe there’s drugs, but they’re so kind. I can’t see them doing anything like that.”

Details on the investigation remain limited.

A Department of Homeland Security agent told Eyewitness News this was not an immigration enforcement operation.

“Nothing ever happens in this neighborhood,” said King.

When investigators left the home, ABC7 asked the person inside the home what happened, to which the person responded, “No comment.”

Once the evening arrived, ABC7 cameras captured them walking out of the home to the vehicle that was part of the search.

It appeared no one was taken into custody.

The incident remains under investigation.
