‘The Voice’ Season 28 Finale: Date, Time and How to Watch Results

Season 28 of ‘The Voice” has been jam-packed with powerhouse performances and emotional eliminations since its Sept. 22 premiere.

Now, the competition’s top six contestants will give their final performances — with fans voting for the winner — during the first episode of the season’s two-part live finale on Dec. 15.

Four final contestants have already been officially announced. Two additional contestants — chosen by viewers — will be revealed during the episode.

The results of the voting will be revealed the next night, Dec. 16, during the star-studded finale episode, which features performances by girl group XG and singer Khalid.

Only one artist — and that artist’s coach — will be crowned the winner. Will two-time champion coach Michael Bublé win for the third time? Or will he be bested by one of his fellow judges, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan or Snoop Dogg?

What Time Does ‘The Voice’ Season 28 Finale Air?

The final episodes of “The Voice” air at 9 p.m. ET on Dec. 15 and Dec. 16.

Where to Watch ‘The Voice’ Season 28 Finale

Viewers can watch the episodes live on NBC. Each episode will be available to stream the day after it airs on Peacock.

Ahead of the winner being announced on Tuesday’s episode, a special finale pre-show will air featuring Ariana Madix and Dylan Efron, Variety has reported. The special will start at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and also stream the following day on Peacock. Madix and Efron will break down Monday’s performances and speak with the finalists.

Both NBC and Peacock are owned by NBCUniversal, TODAY’s parent company.

Who Is Competing in the Finale?

Four of the final contestants have already been announced.

  • Aubrey Nicole (Team Reba)
  • Aiden Ross (Team Niall)
  • Jazz McKenzie (Team Bublé)
  • Ralph Edwards (Team Snoop).

Additionally, fans voted for their favorite among the 12 other contestants. The two contestants with the most votes will also compete during the Dec. 15 episode.

What’s Going to Happen During ‘The Voice’ Season 28 Finale?

The live two-part finale kicks off with the show’s top six contestants pulling out all the stops for their final vocal performances.

XG will perform their brand-new song “Gala” during one of the nights. There will also be guest performances by former “The Voice” winner Sofronio and Neal Schon and Journey on Dec. 16, as well as Zac Brown, Riley Green and Noah Cyrus.

Fans will vote for who they believe the winner should be at NBC.com/VoiceVote or on the official “Voice” app. Whoever wins the most votes will be crowned Season 28’s winner during the following night’s live Dec. 16 episode.
