PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Luck came gift‑wrapped this week for a handful of Arizona lotto players, who unwrapped big wins just in time for the holidays.
Seven winning tickets were sold, ranging from a $50,000 Powerball win to a big $250,000 Triple Twist jackpot. All tickets were sold for drawings from Thursday night to Saturday night,

- Safeway – $50,000 Powerball winner (12/13)
- 1855 N Power Rd. Mesa, AZ (Near Power & McKellips)
- Circle K – $50,000 Powerball winner with Power Play = $100,000 (12/13)

- Fry’s Marketplace – $50,000 Powerball winner with Power Play = $100,000 (12/13)

Saturday’s winning Powerball numbers were 1,28,31,57 and 58 with Powerball number 16.
The Powerball jackpot is now estimated at $1.1 billion and the next drawing is happening on Monday night. Tickets cost $2 a piece, plus an optional $1 “Power Play” add-on to multiply smaller prizes.
