Jennifer Lawrence Reveals Hunger Games Costar Got Annoyed With Her After Accidentally Taking Ambien
Jennifer Lawrence is finding the silver linings in some on-set missteps early in her career.
The No Hard Feelings actress revealed that she accidentally took the wrong kind of pill on two separate occasions while working on past movies.
“You and I are both obsessive about sleep when we’re working, like counting the hours,” Jennifer told her Don’t Look Up costar Leonardo DiCaprio during the Dec. 17 episode of CNN and Variety‘s Actors on Actors series. “When I did Red Sparrow, I took an Adderall instead of a sleeping pill, and then I didn’t sleep all night. I was taking hot showers in a panic. I am not somebody who can function without sleep. And then I had to say the phrase ‘Senate Armed Services Committee’ in a Russian accent. That sucked.”
The next incident had the opposite effect and happened while filming 2013’s The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
“I also once took an Ambien in the morning, thinking it was something else,” she revealed. “It was a dance scene with Philip Seymour Hoffman on the second Hunger Games movie. I was hallucinating.”
