It seems hard to believe that putting Trevon Diggs on the field right now wouldn’t be an immediate upgrade. He says hes healthy, so what are we, the fans, missing? – Mark Somma /Winchester, VA

Patrik: There’s no way to definitively say without someone cutting through the mud to actually make the statement, publicly, but it’s impossible to ignore the Kibbles n’ Bits leading to the entrance of the doghouse. Diggs says he’s completely healthy and ready to play, and continues to say it to anyone who’ll listen. The owner and general manager says he’s “not healthy enough”. Diggs says, in response to that, he is indeed ready to play. The head coach says he wants to see more consistency in practice. Diggs says he’s been showing it in practice and doesn’t know what they want to see “now”. The disconnect between the two sides feels like it’s been present, although worsening since the concussion situation, ever since Diggs opted to train/rehab outside of the facility and, in my opinion, the Micah Parsons trade made things that much more awkward — given the fact Parsons is his best friend. So, is he in the doghouse? I couldn’t definitively say yes, but I, along with you, can certainly admit something smells like Alpo around here.
