Jake Paul will take on Anthony Joshua on Friday yet the social media icon’s partner, Jutta Leerdam, will command just as much attention as her boxer beau.
Paul, 28, and Leerdam, 26, have been an item since early 2023 after the YouTube star ended his relationship with model Julia Rose in December 2022. The pair were “spotted together” after attending a fashion show in Miami and since then their union has blossomed, with the couple getting engaged earlier this year.
Announcing their relationship, Leerdam posted several snaps of the pair. The caption read: “That’s it.” In a post that brought in more than 150,000 likes in just two hours, Paul responded in a comment translated to Dutch: “Ice queen.”

Paul then took to his own account to post snaps of him and Leerdam holding hands and running, saying in the caption: “I’m dutch now.” The 26-year-old Leerdam is a leading speed skater in Europe having burst onto the scene at the World Junior Championships back in 2017.
She has gone on to win two gold medals at the World Sprint Championships, four golds at the European Championships and most notably an Olympic silver in Beijing in 2022. She now has her sights set firmly on the top step of the podium at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
It was in Beijing, where Leerdam was the only competitor to break the 1:14 mark, crossing the line at 1:13:72 to claim her sixth consecutive title. The bombshell also achieved victory at the 2025 ISU European Speed Skating Championships.

However, her personal life with Paul has made her something of a celebrity. Leerdam was by Paul’s side when he stepped into the ring against 59-year-old former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson in November, with the YouTuber winning the bout.
The clash was a major success for Leerdam, who saw her online followers rise exponentially. Advertising guru Max Kohnstamm told Dutch outlet De Telegraaf that Leerdam has been fine tuning her brand, efforts that are now paying off.
“For years, Leerdam has been dealing with the sport [speed skating] very differently than others do,” Kohnstamm said. “She has been working on the brand ‘Jutta Leerdam’ all this time.

“As a result, she soon became not just a good skater, but also her own brand. Because that is, after all, the definition of an influencer.”
Social media expert Joey Scheufler, claimed Leerdam’s social media presence has worked in her favour, saying: “Jutta can now make completely different choices in sports, for example, she no longer has to be in a team to still be very visible.”
Leerdam has also elected not to resign with her speed skating side Team Jumbo as she works towards the Winter Olympics.

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul will face off for a heavyweight clash in Miami on December 19. The fight will stream live on Netflix, which fans can get for free with Sky’s £15 Essential TV bundle, the brand’s ‘lowest ever price’ for Sky TV.
This move was reportedly executed in a bid to cement her own brand away from a team, with the star now commanding 4.8 million followers on Instagram alone.
Scheufler added: “A Team Jumbo like that was not interesting at all for her online reach. And certainly not in America. She now works exclusively with Celsius Energy Drink, which she earns a lot of money from. Jutta has handled it very cleverly, because she transcends skating.”
Social media and influencer expert Kirsten Jassies said: “Don’t forget her beautiful appearance. She knows very well how to use social media, but in combination with bikini photos and other beautiful content, that of course ensures a lot of reach.”
