Chicago crime: Police searching for 3 teen suspects after 62-year-old beaten on CTA bus on South Cicero Avenue on West Side

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police are searching for three teen suspects after a 62-year-old victim was beaten on a CTA bus last week on the city’s West Side.
The crime happened around 5:40 p.m. Dec. 16 in the 700 block of South Cicero Avenue, as the bus approached I-290 from Roosevelt Road, police said.

The beating lead to “extensive and ongoing hospitalization of the victim,” CPD said.
Investigators have released a description of the three suspects and surveillance images: One male, late teens, in a blue jacket; another male, mid-late teens, in a red jacket with a fur hood; and a third male, early-mid teens, in a gray jacket and white hood. They are all wanted for aggravated battery on public transit.
No arrests have been made as Chicago police continue to investigate.
