Chicago crime: Police speaking with at least 1 person of interest in beating of man, 62, on CTA bus on West Side

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police said they are speaking with a person or people of interest in a violent attack on a CTA bus last Tuesday.
The crime happened around 5:40 p.m. Dec. 16 in the 700-block of South Cicero Avenue, as the bus approached I-290 from Roosevelt Road, police said.

The beating lead to “extensive and ongoing hospitalization of the victim,” CPD said.
Investigators have released a description of the three suspects and surveillance images: One male, late teens, in a blue jacket; another male, mid-late teens, in a red jacket with a fur hood; and a third male, early-mid teens, in a gray jacket and white hood. They are all wanted for aggravated battery on public transit.
