King becomes the fifth Panthers practice squader to be signed away this season. That’s tied for the league lead with (coincidentally, not ironically; words matter) Arizona. King was signed to the active roster here for one game this season, playing on special teams in the win over the Rams.
The Panthers have also lost defensive tackle Sam Roberts (Atlanta), offensive lineman Jarrett Kingston (Houston), running back Deejay Dallas (Jacksonville), and outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon (Pittsburgh) from their practice squad to other teams this year.
