Major disruption to Yorkshire train services as emergency services attend incident

Due to emergency services dealing with an incident, the line between Huddersfield / Brighouse and Leeds and Wakefield Kirkgate has been closed.
Trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Major disruption is expected until around 10:30.
Northern says that Manchester Victoria to Leeds via Bradford Interchange can run normally, and that anyone affected by the disruption can travel on the next Northern service.
Road transport is running between Halifax and Leeds.
TransPennine Express say that Newcastle to Liverpool Lime Street services and Hull to Liverpool Lime Street services will terminate and start at Leeds.
Scarborough to Manchester Piccadilly and Redcar Central to Manchester Airport services will start/terminate at York.
Manchester Piccadilly to York stopper services will be cancelled.
Road transport has been requested between Manchester and Leeds but ticket acceptance is in place with CrossCountry, London North Eastern Railway, Manchester Metrolink, Northern and other TPE services.
