Man fatally struck by SEPTA train near Morton Station, Delaware County

Service on the Wawa Line has been suspended in both directions while the investigation continues.

MORTON, Pa. (WPVI) — Authorities are investigating what led to a man being on the tracks when a SEPTA train struck and killed him on Friday.
It happened just after 9 a.m. near Morton Station in Delaware County.
Officials confirm the train was outbound on the Wawa Line and had no passengers on board at the time of the collision.
The man did not survive.
Service on the Wawa Line has been suspended in both directions while the investigation continues.
SEPTA has not released the identity of the victim, and further details remain under investigation.
