Christmas isn’t “Training Season” for Dua Lipa. It’s cooking season.
The singer-songwriter shared a series of holiday pictures on her Instagram, including a bunch of candid shots cuddling with her fiance, actor and fellow Brit Callum Turner. “HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!! SENDING YOU ALL SO MUCH LOVE!!!!!” Lipa wrote in the caption.
In the Instagram carousel, Turner is seen playfully smooching the singer and hanging out with friends and a dog during a holiday party full of games, scratch-off lottery tickets and some vittles. “It’s all about the Love,” Lipa wrote, plus admitted that she was “absolutely smashing the cooking.” The musician’s seen posing with a turkey, first uncooked and then edible. (After not being in a kitchen for six months since she’s been on tour, “all the stars aligned for me.”)
Lipa and Turner, who stars in the recent romantasy film “Eternity” with Miles Teller and Elizabeth Olsen, began dating last year and confirmed their engagement in June. Lipa shared photos of the couple celebrating her 30th birthday in an August Instagram post.
In an October interview with The Sunday Times, Turner, 35, revealed that the two sat next to each other at a mutual friend’s birthday pre-party in Los Angeles and realized they were reading the same book, Hernán Díaz’s novel “Trust.”
“I had just finished the first chapter. I told her and she looked at me and said, ‘I just finished the first chapter, too,'” Turner recalled. “I said, ‘So we’re on the same page.'”
Lipa gushed about her new fiance in a Vogue interview from June and revealed that Turner had an engagement ring made after consulting with the singer’s friends and sister: “I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
