Jamie Erdahl has been married for eight years, keeping her relationship private
Jamie Erdahl will take over hosting responsibilities for Netflix’s second contest on Christmas Day, when three games will be played in Week 17.
The first game will see two teams who are already eliminated from playoff contention face one another, with the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Washington Commanders. Kay Adams will take the lead on the desk for Netflix, alongside the likes of Matt Ryan, Michael Irvin, and Devin McCourty.
The second will see the Detroit Lions look to keep their playoff hopes alive as they play the Minnesota Vikings, who will turn to an undrafted rookie to start in Max Brosmer. NFL reporter, Erdahl, will be on the desk to take over from Adams in the second game, continuing her Netflix work alongside her roles with the NFL Network and CBS Sports. It comes after Travis Kelce gave a 10-word explanation for refusing to sign an autograph for a young Chiefs fan.

Erdahl has had a busy 2025, continuing to be on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football after replacing Adams, who left for her own Up & Adams show.
She travels the nation weekly in covering games, and has done so over the last few years with her husband by her side.
Who is Jamie Erdahl’s husband?
Erdhal has been married to Sam Buckman since 2017, after the two began a relationship in 2014.
The two prefer to keep their relationship private, as she rarely shares much of her husband on social media.

The 38-year-old studied at the University of Michigan, where he was on the football team as a kicker for four years.
He graduated from the school in 2009 with a master’s degree in Education, before going on to work as an agent and an advisor in the NFL.
He worked with players in the league for three years before he joined Stryker, a healthcare company in New York, as a sales representative.
After a few years with the company, he was promoted to Regional Sales Manager and Senior Manager, before being made Director of Marketing.
Buckman does not appear to have an Instagram account.
The two share three children together, having their first in 2019, Brooke Marie.
In 2021, they welcomed their second daughter, Avery, and had a third girl, Nora James, in March 2024.
