It’s that time of year again when engagement announcements pop up with the same frequency as holiday-present humblebrags, and this time, it’s socialite and former Kardashian tag-along Jordyn Woods who has something to celebrate. On Christmas Day, Woods posted a joint photo dump with her longtime partner, New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns, with the caption, “Marry Christmas.” (Get it? Marriage!) Over the course of 15 photos, the basketball player can be seen dropping to one knee as he pops the question to Woods on a balcony overlooking the Manhattan skyline surrounded by friends and family. Woods, who was clearly prepared for the bridal moment, was dressed in all white, including a white satin gown and a fluffy shearling coat.
The couple have been together for five years. Woods first confirmed their relationship in September 2020, when she posted photos of the couple in matching swimsuits to Instagram. This timing coincided with Woods’s rumored estrangement from her former best friend, Kylie Jenner, who distanced herself from the influencer after Tristan Thompson allegedly cheated on a pregnant Khloé Kardashian with Woods. But all that seems to be behind them now as Jenner commented on the 28-year-old’s engagement announcement, writing, “Jordyyyyyyy 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺.” Now that’s a Christmas miracle.
To celebrate, the newly affianced popped up at Madison Square Garden Thursday as the Knicks took on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Sitting courtside as her fiancée went to work, Woods looked like she was having the time of her life, wearing Dsquared2 ice-skating stilettos and a six-figure Himalaya Birkin bag on her arm, per “Page Six.” Happy for them! Maybe we can expect the budding pop star to drop a love song soon?
