Geno Smith has taken an all-around beating in 2025.
The Las Vegas Raiders came into Week 17 owning a 2-13 record, which was bad enough. It didn’t help that Smith has been having a season to forget, which includes countless hits and a league-leading 17 interceptions.
Smith’s second is the one that doomed him in more ways than one on Dec. 28, as the quarterback exited with a knee injury.
Here’s the latest on Smith.
Geno Smith injury update
Smith went to the locker room with a knee injury.
The quarterback limped and appeared to be in pain as the trainers walked with Smith. It was an injury that came after Smith’s second interception of the game and happened as he tried to make a tackle on the return.
It appeared to be friendly fire for Smith, who had his legs taken out by his offensive lineman, Dylan Parham.
The Raiders’ signal caller remained on the turf in pain before heading to the sidelines and, eventually, the locker room.
