As the Christmas season comes to a close, news has emerged that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis made a generous donation to The Baby Bank, which supplies families in need with essentials for newborns and children.

The children of Prince William and Kate Middleton got a shoutout from the charitable organization on December 28 after they donated everyday items to help mark The Baby Bank’s 10-year anniversary.

“2025 saw The Baby Bank turn 10 years old,” a post said alongside a collage of photographs showing donations the organization had received. “As we reflect on this, we are overwhelmed by the constant support of our community as well as schools, organizations, and businesses that have come together to provide collective donations.”

Along with other donors, the nonprofit mentioned that “The Prince and Princess of Wales’ children” chose “essential practical everyday items” to donate.

“These items helped us efficiently reach families far and wide and support thousands of children this year,” the organization concluded.

On December 29, the Prince and Princess of Wales acknowledged the donation in an Instagram Story, writing, “Proud to have been a part of @the_baby_bank story as it marks 10 years of incredible work.”

“The work baby banks do all year round is so important, but particularly at Christmas time,” the post continued.

In November 2023, George, Charlotte, and Louis visited The Baby Bank alongside their mom, and at the time Lauren Hall, co-CEO of the charity, told Hello!, “It’s the second time that the Princess of Wales has visited us this year. She came, I think it was April time, previous to that.” At the earlier visit, Hall said that the future queen told her “that she would like to come back and bring the kids.”

“They were really excited to help out, which was lovely,” Hall added. “Charlotte seems to quite like organizing things and was very keen to do some bags for people of her own age as well as some younger, more baby ones. She was quite keen to do a little clothing pack for a baby.”

Louis, for his part, “was obviously very enthusiastic,” Hall continued. “As soon as he saw the toys, [he] was straight over, picking out all the huge animals, which was quite entertaining.”
