Crews got the lorry back onto its wheels later in the morning.
Police investigators left the scene at about 11:00. No arrests were made.
A Co-op spokesperson said: “There was an incident involving a Co-op truck and a vehicle in the early hours of this morning in Norwich, which the emergency services have attended.
“Both drivers exited their vehicles and their wellbeing is a priority, as an investigation is undertaken into the incident.”
