DT Brandon Dorlus (knee) OUT to return vs. Rams in ‘MNF’

Falcons defensive tackle Brandon Dorlus has been ruled OUT after suffering a knee injury early in the third quarter. The outlook is concerning after Dorlus had to be helped off the field, hardly able to able to put weight on his knee at all.
He went down early in the third quarter, shortly after he recorded a sack on Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. That put him at 8.5 sacks on the season, and also tying him for the team lead.
This marks a major loss for the Falcons defense after Dorlus had been a force in Monday night action, part of the team’s effort to hold Los Angeles to just three points while he was active in the contest.
Dorlus headed into the game with 26 total tackles (14 solo) and 7.5 sacks.
