FBI releases more documents related to Covenant School shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — WARNING: This story contains sensitive, disturbing, and violent information
The FBI has released over 200 pages of documents related to the Covenant School shooting, shedding light on the shooter’s thoughts and plans before the tragic event.
The documents reveal the shooter kept track of federal student aid payments and withdrawals, alongside lists detailing the costs of weapons, accessories, and ammunition.
The entries also outline backup plans targeting a Metro Nashville school, Opry Mills, and Green Hills Mall.
Journal entries suggest the shooter targeted the Covenant School, which she attended, due to its characteristics as a “white school, private school – not known as well” and a “Christian school (hate religion).”
The documents also reference other mass shootings and mention “Biden’s horrible gun plans,” the 2nd Amendment being on “life support,” and “Red Flag laws.”
A spokesperson for the FBI said, “As a standard practice, the FBI does not comment on documents released on the Vault. We have no comment on the shooter.”
