Jonas Brothers show to mark last concert at Daily’s Place before 2-year closure for stadium renovations

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jonas Brothers will take the Daily’s Place stage on Tuesday night for one last concert before the venue temporarily closes for stadium renovations.
Last week, Daily’s Place Amphitheater’s representatives announced the downtown venue will take an “intermission” after the Jonas Brothers bring their “Greetings From Your Hometown” tour.
“Thank you for every show, every memory, every moment. We’ll be back, ready to make even more. Get ready for a next act that’s worth the wait.”
The entertainment venue, which opened in 2017, is connected to EverBank Stadium, now undergoing a multi-billion-dollar renovation project.
Alex Alston, sports and entertainment officer for the city of Jacksonville, said the venue would be closed for two years.
“We’re not going to get into too many specifics,” he said about the closure. “I will tell you that the city and the Jaguars are aligned with our common interest and goal in ensuring that the stadium, the future project, is done on time, and the end goal is having that stadium ready and open for the 2028 season.”

Ken Linkous attended a Tedeschi Trucks concert that was held at the venue about two years ago. Though it’s closing now, he wasn’t worried about the city missing a beat without it.
“We do still have plenty of venues around to take its place, so I don’t think Jacksonville is gonna lose out on anything,” Linkous said.
Alston said the city was working to fill the gap that the closure would leave for entertainment venues.
“Our partner at Legends Global, who manages the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, as well as our other city-owned venues, is constantly in communication with different promoters and artists on touring and routes, and they’re actively working as hard as they can to continue to book quality shows in the arena,” he told News4JAX.
For residents like Erica Nones and Linkous, they look forward to the end result.
“I’m excited to just see what other opportunities it leads to for the city and the downtown area because it’s been exciting to see all the new things opening,” Nones said.
“In two years, we’re gonna have ourselves an incredible venue, something that people will come from all over to visit,” Linkous said. “We’ll get more and more shows here.”
We asked the Jaguars for an update on stadium renovations and how they’re connected to the two-year closure of Daily’s Place. The team responded with a statement:
We are excited to close out a successful 2025 concert season at Daily’s Place with tonight’s Jonas Brothers performance. Following the show, Daily’s Place will take an intermission due to the Stadium of the Future construction which will be ongoing over the next two years.
We have no doubt during our intermission that Northeast Florida will remain a premier destination for world-class music and entertainment, continuing the tradition of hosting the most sought-after performances. We are excited to bring Jacksonville residents, Jaguars fans and live music enthusiasts a reimagined stadium and concert line up at Daily’s Place upon the opening of the Stadium of the Future in August 2028.
