The duo are set to reunite for the NBC Special “A Toast to 2025!” where they’ll relive some of the most memorable moments of the year before heading into 2026.
Hoda left TODAY in January of 2025, and Jenna hosted TODAY with Jenna & Friends for nearly a year before Sheinelle Jones was announced as her new co-host starting in January 2026.
On TODAY, Sheinelle shared her excitement about the decision.
“To have a show like this is beyond my wildest dreams,” she said at the time. “This is the real deal, and I get to do it with Jenna.”

“A Toast to 2025!” will start at 10:30 p.m. ET on Dec. 31 and last until 12:30 a.m. ET on Jan. 1.

Who else will join ‘A Toast to 2025′?
A bevy of celebrities, including actors, journalists, athletes, comedians and TV personalities, will be featured in the two-hour primetime special.
Some stars who are expected to stop by Studio 1A are “Wicked: For Good” star Ethan Slater, comedians Tiffany Haddish and Jim Gaffigan and Olympian Tom Daley.
Also expect appearances from TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Craig Melvin, Dylan Dreyer and Willie Geist.
