Damascus, Dec. 31 (SANA) Minister of Defense Major General Murhaf Abu Qasra, accompanied by his Deputy for the Southern Region Brigadier General Ahmad Issa Al-Sheikh, held a meeting on Wednesday with Damascus Governor Maher Marwan Idlibi and several provincial officials.
The discussions addressed a range of issues of mutual concern and explored mechanisms to strengthen cooperation between the military establishment and state institutions. The talks underscored the importance of supporting national efforts and enhancing security and stability across the province.
