PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A motorcyclist has died after colliding with an e-scooter in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood on Friday afternoon, according to Portland Police.
Officers responded to a crash between a motorcycle and an e-scooter near SE 122nd Ave and SE Tibbetts St just before 5 p.m.
PPB says Portland Fire & Rescue confirmed the motorcyclist died at the scene of the crash. The e-scooter rider was taken to the hospital but is expected to survive.
SE 122nd has been closed between SE Division and SE Powell as crews continue investigating in the area.
