Obituary for Luke W. Kline

KLINE, LUKE W., 36, Nicktown, passed away January 2, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born February 14, 1989, in Indiana, PA, the son of Mark and Alma (Dumm) Kline, of Carrolltown.  Survived by parents, loving wife of 13 years, Alexa “Lexy” (Pawlowski) Kline; and children, Sophia, Emilia, Henry, Thomas, and Peter, all of Nicktown. Brother of Sharon Kline, Carrolltown; Libby (Matt) Gueguen, Nicktown; Maria (Kevin) Stoyka, Nicktown; Abby (Greg) Verbosky, Colver; Jake Kline, Carrolltown; Anna (Brad) Farabaugh, Nicktown; and Jude Kline, Carrolltown.  Also survived by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Randy and Brenda (Kirsch) Pawlowski, Sr., Nicktown; brother-in-law, Randy Pawlowski, Jr., Nicktown; nieces and nephews, Claire, Paul, Andrew, Alice, Ruth, Billy, Liam, and Ben, and numerous aunts and uncles.  Member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, in Nicktown.  Luke was employed with his family’s business, Kline’s Tree Farm in Carrolltown, where he took great pride in his work as a tree farmer.  He cherished every moment with his family, who meant everything to him.  Luke enjoyed coaching his children’s basketball teams.  He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him as a devoted son, husband, father, brother, and uncle whose warmth and care touched everyone around him.  Family and friends will be received from 2 – 4 p.m. and 5 – 8 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 9, 2026, at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church.  Fr. Jeremiah Lange Ph.D., O.S.B. and Fr. Job Foote, O.S.B., concelebrating.  Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery.
