Six people were taken to hospital after a fire Sunday afternoon in southeast Calgary.
Emergency crews responded to a fire at a housing complex in the 400 block of MacLeod Trail S.E. at around 12:25 p.m., according to Calgary police.
The Calgary Fire Department says the fire originated from one suite, with damage done throughout the building.
One person was taken to hospital in critical condition, two in serious condition and three in stable condition, an EMS spokesperson told CBC News.
The fire remains under investigation.
Sunday afternoon also saw Calgary fire crews respond to a fire that damaged two garages and a power pole in the northwest community of Kensington, and a large fire at the Shepard Landfill and Eco Centre in southeast Calgary.
